A $0, royalty-free, permissively-licensed sound library assembled to replace the synthesized kit
(app/js/fx.js — the WebAudio "clacky-tacky" voices) wherever a real recording hits harder.
License ladder: CC0 wherever possible (public domain, zero obligations), CC-BY only where the sound earns
its one-line credit (marked CC-BY; credit lines live in
assets/sfx/LICENSES.md). Nothing share-alike, nothing paid. Full manifest:

Sfx voices in
fx.js plus the page-level events that call them). Press any candidate to hear it;
the currently-synthesized character is described in italics so you can A/B against the game.
Clicking a candidate plays it AND makes it your pick for that voice (one pick per voice —
the last one you clicked wins); the ☆ chip on a candidate's right toggles a pick without playing.
Picks persist (localStorage cg-sfx-cast) — hit COPY PICKED CAST in the bottom bar
and paste the result in chat: I rewire Sfx to play the picked file (keeping per-voice
synthesis as the instant fallback and keeping the mute chip, no engine change). Voices you don't
pick keep the synthesis you already liked.
